What is the biggest group size for “Cycling Venice Lagoon”?

Our biggest group size is 10.

Do you have a minimum group size?

Yes, our minimum group size is 4 .

What language will be spoken your lectures on bike?

Our lectures on bike are in English and in Italian. For groups, or on demand, can also be held in other languages. Please send us an email beforehand at info@cyclingvenicelagoon.com for specific requests.

When should I arrive?

Please arrive at least 15 mins before your route is due to start. We try and get away on time so if you’re late, you could miss out.

We are a family with children. Can we join?

Yes you can, send us an email before  (info@cyclingvenicelagoon.com) for any requirements (e.g. if you need a front baby seat or a back child seat, etc.).

Are there any discounts for children?

Children up to 4 join for free. For children between 5 to 12 a discount will be applied.

How much in advance do I need to book?

Usually a week or a couple of weeks in advance are enough to book.

How much of a deposit is required to book?

Payment is cash only in euro on the departure of the route.

What’s your policy in case of rain?

In case of heavy rain, routes will not take place. No refund is due if it begins to rain after the start of the route. In this case your assistance route provides you with a raincoat for free.

What responsibilities do I assume as a guest?

Guests are responsible for: choosing a route that suits their abilities, fitness level and state of health; arriving at the point of departure with clothing and gear suited to that season; respecting the laws and customs of Italy; following environmental guidelines and regulations while on the route in accordance with the route assistance’s directions; respecting the rights and privacy of other members. An individual may be asked to leave if the assistance feels that the person’s behaviour can cause annoyance to the individual or to the well-being and amusement of other guests.

How challenging are “Cycling Venice Lagoon” routes?

The “Hit & Run” and “Slow & Fun” routes are not challenging. They are suitable for everyone. The pace is always slow and we will stop many times during the route.

Is there any insurance in case of theft?

If you join one of our routes you are not responsible for the risk of theft. This is the sole responsibility of “Cycling Venice Lagoon”. If you rent our bikes you are responsible for the bike itself and the hired equipment. In case of theft you will be asked to refund Cycling Venice Lagoon according to the wholesale price of the stolen equipment.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

Yes, you need to wear a helmet.
